Welcome to the Tour de Northamptonshire, a beautifully crafted cyclosportive designed for riders of all abilities. Whether you're taking on your first sportive or chasing a new distance goal, this event offers stunning countryside, well-supported routes, and a friendly, inclusive atmosphere.

Choose Your Distance
Tour of the Villages (X) – 30 miles
Perfect for beginners or those looking for a shorter, scenic ride. Expect quiet lanes, charming villages, and a few cheeky climbs to keep things interesting.
Reservoirs & Aerodromes (XL) – 40 miles
A balanced challenge with rolling terrain, reservoir views, and a mid-ride stop at Sywell. Ideal for riders looking to push a little further.
Reservoirs & Aerodromes (XXL) – 60 miles
Our longest route for experienced riders. A rewarding loop through Northamptonshire’s best countryside, with extended sections and added challenge.
The Experience
Starting and finishing at Naseby Village Hall, just 5 minutes from Junction 2 of the A14, all three routes take you through:
• Quiet country lanes
• Picturesque villages
• Historic landmarks, including the Harrington Air Base War Memorial
• Stunning reservoir crossings
• Rolling terrain with a few testing climbs
Expect a relaxed, friendly sportive atmosphere with plenty of support along the way.

Plus, mechanical support is provided by JD Bikes, so help is never far away if you need it.
Navigation
Final routes with downloadable GPX files will be confirmed two weeks before the event.
Event Day Details
Registration opens: 07:30 (Location: Naseby Village Hall)
Rolling Start (groups of ~15 riders):
• 60 mile: 08:00 – 08:45
• 40 mile: 08:30 – 09:15
• 30 mile: 09:00 – 09:30
To ensure a smooth experience, please arrive no more than 30 minutes before your start time.
Finish Line
Cross the finish line back in Naseby and receive your well-earned finisher’s medal, the perfect reward for your ride.
Key Information
Cut-off time: 14:30
• XXL riders must reach Sywell by 11:15 or switch to the XL route
• Riders can downgrade routes on the day if needed
Minimum Age:
• 30 miles: 14+
• 40 & 60 miles: 16+
What You Need
Mandatory Kit:
• Roadworthy bike
• Helmet (BSEN1078 standard)
• Bright or hi-vis clothing
• Water bottle (min. 500ml)
• Repair kit (tube, levers, pump)
• Mobile phone (for navigation & emergencies)
• Rear red light
